Preventative Maintenance Planner/Instrumentation

This position is Calgary based working a 5 & 2 schedule (Monday to Friday – 8 hour days) which may vary depending on client requirements.

The Preventative Maintenance Planner/Instrumentation will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Identify critical equipment.

Identify critical spaces required.

Indentify types of material using various information sources such as drawings, markings and documentation.

Check and modify existing materials in SAP.

Verify/modify vendor information & manufacturer part numbers in SAP.

Determine stock required for each item while working with a Reliability Specialist.

Prepare an excel sheet for each item as per client standards.

Add new & modify BOM’s in SAP.

Programming and maintenance of Preventative Maintenance Work Orders by creating task lists for the associated work complete with quality control documentation, applicable drawings, portions of manuals and other information, as required, for full communication of the work scope to all parties.

Master Data entry - Functional location creation. Enter and maintain equipment information.

Bill of Material creation.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years experience planning for trades in a heavy industrial setting.

Strong knowledge of SAP or similar CMMS.

Capable of managing time efficiently.

Willing to spend much of time working plans from the computer.

Ability to determine when it is necessary to go to site and review the needs prior to completion of the plan.

Capable of group facilitation.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Trade certificate or diploma in a relevant technical field or equivalent technical and operational experience.
