This position is based in the Lower Mainland with a Term Contract of 6-12 months based on performance.
The Planner/Scheduler will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Adhere to Client standards, procedures and documentation requirements.
Provide scope review, obtain approval and conduct HAZOP/risk review, as required, on developed scopes to/from key stakeholders.
Generate procurement specifications for purchased materials.
Create work order packages in SAP for the associated work complete with Quality Control documentation, applicable drawings, portions of manuals and other information, as required, for full communication of the scope to all parties.
Plan the execution of outage, turnaround and Short Range Plan (SRP) activities.
Communicate with Client coordinators and technical department representatives to resolve execution issues.
The successful candidate will require the following;
Minimum of 5 years planning experience in the Oil & Gas or Pulp & Paper industries.
Proficient in maintenance planning for multi-discipline crews within SAP .
A minimum of 3 years experience with Prometheus is prerequisite for consideration of this role.
Proficient in maintenance scheduling within GWOS and the use of Prometheus tools for scheduling.
Strong communication skills with the ability to converse with Trades.
